Southeast Bank PLC has signed an agreement with the National Pension Authority to facilitate the collection of monthly contributions under the Universal Pension Scheme, said a press release.
Southeast Bank managing director (current charge) Abidur Rahman Chowdhury and NPA executive chairman Md Mohiuddin Khan signed the agreement on May 15 at finance ministry premises in Dhaka.
This partnership enables the bank to collect pension instalments from scheme holders through both digital and physical channels of the bank.
