A total of 100 officials from BRAC Bank have been officially certified by the Bangladesh Insurance Academy after completing the ‘Bancassurance’ training.

The officials in the 7th batch underwent intensive training under the guidance of expert trainers at the academy. The certificate awarding ceremony was held at Academy Bhaban, Mohakhali, Dhaka, on Sunday.


With this certification, the total number of Bancassurance-certified officials at BRAC Bank has reached approximately 700, further strengthening the bank’s capacity to offer a wide range of insurance solutions with efficiency and reliability.

The closing ceremony was virtually attended by Md Sayed Kutub, additional secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance, as chief guest. SM Ibrahim Hossain, chief faculty member of BIA, presided over the event.

Special guests included Jashim Uddin Chowdhury, head of national sales, retail banking at BRAC Bank, and Shahariar Omer Faruque, assistant managing director and principal of Pragati Training Institute.

Organised by Bangladesh Insurance Academy with joint efforts from banks and insurers, the Bancassurance training programme aims to diversify insurance product marketing and enhance customer access to fast and reliable insurance services.
