Kishoreganj District and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan advanced to the final of the Women鈥檚 Development Cup Hockey after securing victories in the semi-finals at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
Kishoreganj beat five-team Group A champions Jashore District by 2-1 goals while BKSP earned a crushing 12-0 win over Group A runners-up Rajshahi District in the semi-finals of the 11-team tournament.
Kishoreganj confirmed their semifinal berth as the Group B runners-up with nine points from five games having three win and two losses, after beating Rangpur District 16-0 in their group final.
BKSP crushed Jhenaidah District by 17-0 goals to secure the semifinal spot as Group B champions with all-win 15 points from five games.聽
The final of the 11-day long tournament will be held at the same venue today.
