
NetCom Learning Bangladesh hosted a high-level meeting with Abdelouahab Saidani, ambassador of Algeria to Bangladesh, at its Dhaka office on Tuesday.
The discussions centred on collaboration to train one million Algerians in critical technological fields, said a press release.
The meeting highlighted Algeria’s national vision for economic diversification and technological advancement, specifically its ‘Digital Algeria 2030’ strategy.
NetCom Learning Bangladesh presented initiatives to upskill Algerian learners and professionals in areas like artificial intelligence, cyber-security, and cloud computing.
Abdur Rahman Maman, head of partnerships, further outlined goals to empower over five million Algerian teachers through specialised training.
Envoy Saidani expressed strong interest in the potential collaboration and indicated his intention to engage with Algeria’s ministry of foreign affairs to explore future cooperation opportunities in education and skills development.
The envoy was given a tour of the facilities and engaged with department heads before a concluding lunch.
