‘We have formed a ‘Japan Cell’ and also have a plan to make a dedicated website’, even we are following easiest way for sending workers abroad’, he said. ‘Alongside, we are thinking private-public partnership for developing the as skilled workforce.’
Mentioning the reality of the public services, the adviser said that when they visited the government office they heard that the organisation had no vehicle, no computer, no manpower, adding that even the organisation needed more manpower while the 50 per cent of the total manpower did not work properly.
Speaking on providing bank loan for the students to go abroad, Asif Nazrul said that they would try best to introduce bank loan facilities for the students willing to go abroad.
Citing cautious for those who are willing to go abroad, the overseas employment adviser said that it was not well to go abroad anyhow, adding that anyone should go abroad through gaining proper expertise.
‘Even we have to make aware the people so that they do not face any unfortunate situation for going abroad through selling his property,’ he added.
About sending Bangladeshi workers to Malaysia, the adviser said that there was a possibility to take 30,000-40,000 workers to Malaysia from Bangladesh in next one year.
