Bangladesh will play a friendly match against Afghanistan ahead of their AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers Group C tie against India, next month.

Bangladesh and Afghanistan will play the match in November鈥檚 FIFA window as part of their preparation for the Qualifiers home fixtures on November 18.


The schedule for the friendly is yet to be finalised, Bangladesh Football Federation鈥檚 general secretary Emran Hossain told the media on Tuesday.

Afghanistan will play their fifth Group E fixture against Myanmar in Dhaka, which will mark the beginning of Bangladesh as a neutral venue.

As Bangladesh and India will play at the National Stadium, the match between Afghanistan and Myanmar is most likely to be held at the King鈥檚 Arena.

Afghanistan are expected to arrive in Dhaka on November 10 and will leave Dhaka on November 19.
