
The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations will be published on October 16.
This year the results will be published separately from 11 boards across the country at 10:00am, according to a press release issued by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee under the education ministry on Monday.
The candidates will get the results in four ways, via websites of the board and institutions concerned, by sending messages and by visiting their own educational institutions.
The release also said that results would not be distributed to the education boards, education ministry office or media offices.
The release also said that the result sheet can be downloaded from the website (www.educationboardresults.gov.bd) and the websites of the education board concerned by clicking the result corner and entering the educational institution’s EIIN.
Examinees can also get results by sending an SMS to 16222. For the SMS content one has to type—HSC, first three letters of the board’s name, roll number and year (for example: HSC Dha 123456 2024).
For re-examination of answer papers, applications can be submitted between October 17 and 23 via https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd.
The process of application will be published in the websites of the education boards and advertisement on papers.Â
No central programme will be held today to publish combined results of the exams.
A separate press release, issued by the committee on Monday, read that the committee would hold an exchange-of-views meeting with journalists at the office of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka in the capital at 10:00am on October 16, the day of result publication.
The HSC and equivalent exams were held between June 26 and August 31 this year.
Total 12.51 lakh students—6.33 lakh female and 6.18 lakh male—sat for the exams this year at 2,797 centres under 11 education boards—nine general, one technical, and one madrassah.
