Shahman Moishan, an associate professor at the department of Theatre and Performance Studies at Dhaka University, won the Study UK Alumni Awards in the Culture and Creativity category on Tuesday at British Council in Dhaka.

Culture and Creativity category national winner Dr Shahman Moishan is a scholar-playwright-director with a focus on modern theatrical forms in postcolonial Bangladesh.
Shahman Moishan did his PhD in political Shakespeare and intercultural performance from the Shakespeare Institute at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.
Through his work, Shahman Moishan explores the collective unconscious through a critical understanding of roots, histories, and the power of performance. 聽
