The second of the five-Youth ODI series between Bangladesh U-19 and their Afghanistan counterparts was abandoned due to wet out field at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura on Friday.

Bangladesh are playing the series as their final preparation ahead of the U-19 World Cup, scheduled to be held in Zimbabwe and Namibia early 2026.聽聽

With the match being called-off without a ball being bowled, Bogura stadium has come under scrutiny again due to its poor drainage system, which forced NCL T20 matches to be shifted to other venues.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the first match by five runs in D/L method, thanks to Iqbal Hossain鈥檚 five-for and Kalam Siddiki鈥檚 101.聽

The third match is scheduled on November 3 at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium. The last two games will be played on November 6 and 9, respectively in Rajshahi.
