Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain both reached their career-best position in the ICC men’s T20I batters’ rankings, that was published on Wednesday.Ìý

The left-handed openers had a successful run in the three-match series against Pakistan despite Bangladesh’s 3-0 drubbing.Ìý

However, both batters are still outside the top 50 in the rankings.Ìý

Tanzid climbed 28 spots to reach 53rd as he scored 106 runs at an average of 35.33 and with a strike rate of 155.88.Ìý

Parvez, who scored a quickfire fifty in the third match, also climbed 28 spots to storm into the top 100 (95).

Jaker Ali also moved up three places to climb into 68th.Ìý

But the other batters’ ranking declined as the middle order failed to shine.Ìý

Towhid Hridoy slipped seven places to 41 but still managed the highest position for a Bangladeshi batter in the chart, while captain Liton Das lost one spot to be in number 51.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Haris soared a massive 210 places to number 30 as he was adjudged the player of the series against Bangladesh.Ìý

He smashed a fiery unbeaten 107 off just 46 balls in the third T20I, backing up his earlier knocks of 41 and 31 to finish as the series’ top run-scorer with 167 runs at a strike rate of 201.12.

His fellow middle-order batter Hasan Nawaz also impressed, finishing second on the charts with 121 runs at a strike rate of 198.36. He surged 57 places to a career-best equal 45th in the batting charts, which is being led by Australia’s Travis Head.Ìý
