Bangladesh Under-19 team cruised to an eight-wicket win against their UAE counterparts in the third one-day match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.

Pacer Saad Islam Razin (4-32) and Rafiuzzaman Rafi (3-27) shared seven wickets between them to pack UAE for 163 runs in 46.4 overs.

Opener Rifat Beg and captain Azizul Hakim then steered the hosts with fifties to chase the target in 34.1 overs.

Opting to bat, the visitors failed to find their feet against Razin, as they were reduced to 15-3 within the first seven overs.

Then, Rayan Khan played the top-scoring knock but fell short of just one run from a half-century. Rayan scored 49 off 87 before he was run out.

Left-arm orthodox, Rafi laid another batting collapse as Yayin Kiran (26), Madhav Manoj Nair (26) and Karan Dhiman (12) were the only batters to touch double digits.

Chasing the target, Rifat and Azizul forged a match-winning 116-run partnership despite losing opener Zawad Abrar (2) early. Both scored 71 runs.

Rifat fell to Aliasgar Shums after scoring 71 off 79 featuring eight boundaries and a maximum.

Bangladesh will face UAE in the fourth and final one-day match on November 1 at the same venue.

The first two matches were abandoned due to a wet outfield at Rajshahi.

The hosts won the lone three-day match by 202 runs against UAE, which marked the beginning of the series.
