A delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, led by secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, met with the chief adviser at the Jamuna State Guesthouse on Tuesday evening.
The three-member BNP team arrived at the chief adviser鈥檚 residence shortly before 6:00pm.
In addition to Mirza Fakhrul, the delegation included party Standing Committee members Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed.
Before entering Jamuna, Salahuddin told reporters that they had requested the meeting with the chief adviser, who allocated time for the discussion at 6:00pm.
Salahuddin added that the delegation would be addressing several key topics during the meeting, including the upcoming national elections in February, various administrative issues, and the overall political situation in the country.
