A female student of a private university was allegedly raped by three men in the Christian Para area of Savar on Wednesday afternoon, according to police and local sources.
The second-year student was reportedly abducted from a road in Kamlapur Goailpara area while she was returning home after tutoring in the afternoon.
Witnesses said that three local men鈥攊dentified as Sohel Rosario, Biplob Rosario, and Mithu Rosario, all of whom are known drug addicts鈥攆orced the victim into a nearby forested area where they assaulted her.
The victim鈥檚 family later lodged a complaint with the Savar Model Police Station.
Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Jewel confirmed the case to 抖阴精品, saying the suspects fled the area soon after the incident.
鈥楢 manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused鈥�, Jewel said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical examination, police added.
