The Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Envolead Limited at the CCDB head office at Mirpur in Dhaka.

Through this MoU, both parties aim to establish a strategic partnership that promotes operational collaboration through the exchange of expertise, resources and knowledge in the areas of research, capacity development and technology transfer, said a press release on Monday.


This partnership also intends to jointly develop and implement innovative, context-specific and cost-effective climate-tech solutions that strengthen community resilience, empower youth and women, promote sustainable livelihoods and contribute to both organisational goals and broader national and global climate resilience objectives.

By integrating CCDB鈥檚 field-based knowledge and networks with Envolead鈥檚 capacity for innovation and technological advancement, this partnership aims to generate tangible, long-term impacts.

Both parties are committed to facilitating inclusive development by empowering youths and women, promoting entrepreneurship, and introducing affordable technological solutions that improve resilience, adaptive capacity and sustainable livelihoods.

Representing Envolead Ltd., the delegation comprised co-founder and CEO, Morshedul Bari; co-founder and director, Tania Noor; and executive officer for innovation and sustainability, Md Abu Rahath.

On behalf of CCDB, the delegation comprised executive director, Juliate K Malakar; deputy executive director, Chandan Charles Gomes; head of the comprehensive poverty reduction programme, George Ashit Singha, and other senior officials.
