The first anniversary of death of former president AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury will be observed today.
Popularly known as B Chowdhury, the veteran politician was also the founding secretary general of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and also the founding chairperson of Bikalpadhara Bangladesh.
An eminent physician by profession, B Chowdhury died last year on this day at the age of 94. His father Kafiluddin Chowdhury was also a renowned politician.
B Chowdhury will be remembered through a series of programmes today undertaken at his village home in Munsiganj, said a press release from Bikalpadhara Bangladesh issued on Saturday.
