Bangladesh Bridge Authority in a statement said that for routine maintenance work of Karnaphuli Tunnel, traffic movement will be continued in a controlled manner through traffic diversion of Patenga to Anwara or Anwara to Patenga tube as needed from 11:00pm to 5:00am from September 25 to 30.
During this time, the passengers may need to wait for a minimum of five to a maximum of 10 minutes on both sides of the tunnel, depending on the existing traffic volume.
