The authorities of Biman Bangladesh Airlines expelled 13 candidates and handed four of them to the police for allegedly using unfair means during a written test for recruiting cargo helpers (causal).

A press release, issued by Biman on Sunday, said that the incidents happened during a test being held at four centres in Dhaka city鈥擝AF Shaheen College, Civil Aviation School and College, Kurmitola High School and College and Nawab Habibullah Model School and College鈥攂etween 3:00pm and 4:00pm on Saturday.


During the test, 10 candidates were expelled at BAF Shaheen College, two were expelled at Kurmitola High School and College, and one at Civil Aviation School and College.

Four of the expelled students were also detained and handed over to the police stations concerned.

Biman filed several First Information Reports with the respective police stations regarding the incidents.

One of the FIRs was against a candidate named Md Saiful Islam for using an electronic device banned from carrying by the candidates into the examination room.

Three FIRs were filed against Murad Hossain Habib, Rubel Rana and Rana Mia for copying the admit cards of the genuine candidates named Md Siddique Ali, Md Raihan Hossain and Sumon Ali respectively.

FIRs were also filed against Md Siddique Ali, Md Raihan Hossain and Sumon Ali.
