Chattogram City Corporation has partnered with Grameenphone, the country鈥檚 leading telecommunications services provider, to accelerate smart city solutions for citizens of the port city.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Monday at the Chattogram City Corporation office in the presence of CCC mayor Shahadat Hossain and Grameenphone chief executive officer Yasir Azman, said a press release.


Senior officials from both organisations, including Mohammad Ashraful Amin, CCC secretary, Grameenphone鈥檚 chief business officer Asif Naimur Rashid and chief financial officer Otto Magne Risbakk, were also present.

Under this partnership, Grameenphone and Chattogram City Corporation will jointly design, develop, and deploy a wide range of smart city services to enhance efficiency, transparency, and citizen engagement across the metropolitan area.

With the collaboration, Grameenphone and Chattogram City Corporation are laying the foundation for a future-ready Chattogram where technology improves quality of life, boosts efficiency, and ensures better governance.
