Bangladesh Chhatra Shibir-backed Oikyabaddha Shikkharthi Jote’s vice president candidate for DUCSU elections, Abu Sadik Kayem, expressed his concern that some candidates were distributing campaigning materials, including leaflets and panels’ candidate lists, within 100 yards of the polling centre.
He talked to ¶¶Òõ¾«Æ· in front of Dhaka University Club on Tuesday.
There were several supporters of DUCSU candidates, including Bangladesh Chhatra Dal-backed general secretary candidate Sheikh Tanvir Baree Hamim.
Hamim said he didn’t know about Sadik’s allegations.
