The convening committee of Class III Employees’ Welfare Association of Bangladesh Medical University has been formed.
Md Jahangir Hossain Liton has been appointed as convener of the 3-member committee, said a press release on Wednesday.
This information was revealed in an office order signed by associate professor Dr Sheikh Farhad, proctor of Bangladesh Medical University and chief adviser of the welfare association on Tuesday.
The joint-conveners of the new committee are Mahbub ul-Alam, Farooq Ahmed, Sohrab Hossain, Md Fakrul Islam and Nurul Islam.
Mehedi Hasan has been appointed as member secretary and Md Ilias Khan has been appointed as treasurer of the committee.
The members are Faiz Ullah Manik, Md Kamal Parvez Dalim, Md Faisal Hossain, Solaiman Mithu, Saiful Azam Helali Titu, Mujibur Rahman Talukder, Asaduzzaman Mukul, Sakhawat Hossain Shipon, Mizanur Rahman Munshi, Md Shamim Faisal, Golam Sarwar Sumon, Zaker Hossain, Ashraful Islam, Kona Sultana, Saiful Islam, Nurul Islam, Md Masudur Rahman, Md Mominul Haque, Matiur Rahman, Rafiqul Islam, Abu Daud Chowdhury, Shahjahan Babul, Md Akhter Hossain Prodhan and Md Golam Mohiuddin.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the members of the newly formed committee presented flowers to the office of the Proctor of BMU.
At that time, proctor Sheikh Farhad called on the employees to perform their respective duties properly and work with dedication to enhance the reputation of the university.
