The detective branch of police arrested an Indian national along with liquor in an anti-drug operation at Hatkaluganj Police Lines Primary School gate area in Chuadanga on Saturday night.
The arrested, Mohammad Mahabul Mandal, 38, is a resident of Chakram Prasad village under Sagarpara police station of Murshidabad district in West Bengal, India.
Chuadanga Sadar police station officer-in-charge Khaledur Rahman said that a team of DB police, acting on a tip off, conducted a drive in the area and arrested him with four bottles of liquor.
Two separate cases were filed against him with Chuadanga Sadar police station under the Narcotics Control Act and illegal entry, the OC added.
