
Bereaved guardians on Tuesday demanded a fair investigation and trial against the authorities of Milestone School and College in Uttara for allegedly pushing children to the brink of death on June 21 through its coaching business by violating the law.
At a press conference they upheld a nine-point demand charter which included the closure of coaching business at Milestone School and College and all educational institutions and compensation for the victims of the Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crash on the compound of Milestone School and College, killing at least 36 people, most of whom were primary-level students.
The guardians held the press conference at the National Press Club. Earlier, they organised a human chain at Diabari on August 12 with their nine-point demands.
At the Tuesday鈥檚 press conference, the guardians explained that recurrence of accidents like this would be prevented in future, justice would be ensured and examples for the future would be made if the government meet their demands.
