Palestinian ambassador to Bangladesh Yousef SY Ramadan paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University vice-chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan at the latter鈥檚 office in the capital on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they exchanged views regarding various issues including admission of Palestinian students at DU as well as granting scholarship to them, said a press release.
The envoy sought cooperation from DU authorities in providing scholarship to Palestine students. He also thanked the people of Bangladesh for standing beside Palestinian people.
Professor Niaz assured the ambassador of taking all possible measures in proving scholarship to Palestinian students. He also condemned Israeli brutal attacks and killings of Palestinian people.
Later, ambassador Yousef delivered a lecture on 鈥楪aza: The genocide of the 21st century happening live before the world鈥檚 eyes鈥� at DU Arabic department.
