Fifteen officers who were recently promoted from the assistant director posts, at the headquarters of Bangladesh Ansar and聽Village Defense Party, were honoured by the force鈥檚 director general, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, with rank badges of deputy directors.
At the rank badge adorning ceremony, the director general extended his warm greetings and congratulations to the promoted officers and said that an increase in the multidimensionality of responsibilities and duties comes with promotion.
Md Joynal Abedin delivered a speech on behalf of the promoted officers. He said that this promotion is not only honourable for us, but it is also an inspiration to fulfill our future responsibilities.
The promoted officers are Md Joynal Abedin, SM Shariful Islam, Md Rezaul Islam, Md Abdul Alim, Md Kamrul Islam, Mohammad Kamrul Islam, Muhammad Emranul Haque, SM Raihan Helal, Ujjwal Banerjee, Md Siddiqur Rahman Khan, Mohammad Azharul Huda, Mohammad Raihan Uddin Fakir, SM Akhtaruzzaman, Mohammad Rakib Uddin and Mohammad Jasim Uddin.
Additional director general of the force Brigadier General Fida Mahmud, deputy directors general and senior officials of various levels were present at the event.
