
The death toll from Bangladesh Air Force jet crashing into a building of Milestone School and College in the capital鈥檚 Uttara on July 21 reached 32 on Friday.
One more injured victim died at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, according to the chief adviser鈥檚 press wing.
The deceased is identified as Ayman, 10, who succumbed to his 45 per cent burn injuries at 9:32am on Friday.
Till now, among the deceased, 28 were children, including many under 12 years of age, two were schoolteachers, and one was the aircraft鈥檚 pilot.
The press wing shared updates about the deceased and injured patients till 10:00am.
Till Friday morning, a total of 51 people were admitted to hospitals, as per the updates.
Of them, 14 victims died and 41 were undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, 15 died and eight undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital, one each died at Dhaka Medical College, Lubana General Hospital and Cardiac Center and United Hospital Limited and one was undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Mental Health and Hospital.
The forensic DNA laboratory of the Criminal Investigation Department on Thursday disclosed the identities of five charred bodies found in a building of Milestone School and College after the incident.
