Group Captain Md Ahsan Habib has been withdrawn from his post as director of Flight Safety and Regulation at the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh.
According to an office order issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday, he has been sent back to the Bangladesh Air Force.
Group Captain Md Monirul Islam has been appointed as his replacement. His service has been placed under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
The move comes amid mourning following Monday鈥檚 tragic crash of a fighter jet of Bangladesh Air Force into Milestone School and College in Uttara, which claimed at least 32 lives so far.
