The Rapid Action Battalion on Tuesday night arrested three drug traffickers along with a firearm and ammunition in the capital.
The arrested are Md Shakil, 36, Md Rubel, 34, and Md Mokter Bhuiyan, 40, residents of Jurain Bou Bazar area under Kadamtali.
A team of RAB-10 raided at an abandoned house in Jurain Bou Bazar area under Kadamtali at around 10:05pm on Tuesday. One foreign pistol, one magazine and two rounds of bullet were seized from their possessions, said a press release of the RAB.
The trio was accused in multiple cases filed with different police stations as they have long been in extortion, drug trafficking and selling and buying of illegal firearms, it added.
