The University Teachers’ Network on Wednesday announced month-long programmes to mark the first anniversary of the student-mass uprising that toppled the Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League government on August 5, 2024.
Dhaka University mass communications and journalism teacher Gitiara Nasreen, on behalf of the platform, issued a release, announcing the programmes.
The programmes will feature a get-together of teachers, a rally and a seminar.
The get-together will be held at the social sciences faculty building of the University of Dhaka on July 5 and the rally and the conference will be held in Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium of the university on July 19.
A seminar on universities after the mass uprising will take place in the same auditorium on August 2.
