A man was allegedly stabbed to death by miscreants at Kotbari Mohalla of Savar municipality early Tuesday.
The deceased is Durjoy Sheikh, 48, son of late Nazimuddin of Goalpara village under Haluaghat upazila in Mymensingh.
Being informed, police recovered the body in the morning.
Durjoy was residing with his family in the Kotbari area of Savar municipality. Durjoy went out of the house at about 1:00am and did not return, hir wife said.
Savar model police station sub-inspector Quader Sheikh said that the body of the deceased was recovered and sent to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue.
鈥楶olice are working to arrest those involved in the incident and investigate the cause of the murder,鈥� he said.
