A student of Notre Dame College died on Monday afternoon reportedly after falling from the college鈥檚 academic building known as Father Timm Bhaban.
According to the police, Dhrubobrata Das, 18, assumed to have died after falling from the third floor of the building at about 3:20pm on Monday and doctors at Dhaka Medical College Hospital pronounced him dead more than one hour later.
The DMCH police out-post in-charge Md Faruk said that the DMCH physicians declared dead at about 4:30pm after he was taken to the hospital by his father.聽聽
鈥榃e assumed that he fell from the third floor of the academic building as the second floor was closed,鈥� said Motijheel police station officer-in-charge Mesbah Uddin.
He said that the body was kept at the DMCH morgue for autopsy and an unnatural death case would be filed in this connection.
Dhrubobrata Das鈥檚 father Banibrata Das told 抖阴精品 that he was waiting outside the college as his son went to collect admit card for the HSC examination.
鈥業 heard that my son fell from the academic building,鈥� he added.
