Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation chairman Md Ruhul Amin Khan called upon the BADC staff to carry out their responsibilities with sincerity and above all kinds of irregularities and corruption and take the activities of BADC further forward.
He made the call virtually on Thursday on the concluding day of a training programme under the project titled Irrigation Development through Surface Water in Pabna-Natore-Sirajganj Districts implemented by Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation, said a press release.
Regarding the project, the chairman said, 鈥楾his is one of the most significant projects among the projects under implementation. Farmers have benefited from the implementation of this project.鈥�
EGP and PPR skills training activities were held at the head office of the project at the Irrigation Building in Pabna in May 4-8.
Briefly introducing the project, the director of the project, Mahmud Hasan Khan, said that the project had a historical foundation in the development of agriculture and irrigation management in this region through the project implemented in various stages from 1998 to the present.
