
A seven-bed kidney dialysis center, named Chakladar Dialysis Center, was inaugurated at Dhaka Community Hospital on Saturday, said a press release.
Khairul Alam Chakladar, chairman of the executive committee of NCC Bank, provided the financial support for the center.
At a program organised on this occasion, Khairul Alam said, ‘The contribution that Dhaka Community Hospital has been making in the field of medical services, especially the treatment of the lower-class common people, is truly commendable. I am very happy and feel blessed to be able to stand by the Community Hospital which is providing medical services to the common people. I sincerely thank the DCH authorities for providing this opportunity to me.’
He also expressed his hope that he would try to provide more cooperation to the hospital in future.
Dhaka Community Hospital Trustee Board chairman Professor Quazi Quamruzzaman, Professor Mahmudar Rahman, Quazi Habibur Rahman, Professor Omar Sharif Ibne Hasan, Fuadul Islam, Golam Mostafa, Waqar Hossain Tapan, Md Ariful Islam and others were present at the inaugural ceremony.
The hospital’s Trustee Board chairman Professor Quazi Quamruzzaman expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to Khairul Alam for his generous contribution.
