Three faculties of the United International University have been featured among the world’s top 2 per cent scientists list by the United States’ Stanford University and Elsevier.
The UIU school of science and engineering professor Al Sakib Khan Pathan, school of business and economics teacher Md Kamruzzaman, and school of humanities and social sciences teacher Sharif Ahmed Mukul have been named in the list recently, said a press release on Saturday.
Professor Md Abul Kashem Mia, vice-chancellor of the UIU, congratulated them on being ranked in the list. He said, ‘This recognition is one of the most significant achievements of the UIU.’
He also advised the faculties to focus on research and innovation to be included in this list in the future.
