
The handover ceremony of the Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator of the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology was held on the campus in Chattogram on Wednesday.
In this regard, an agreement was signed between the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority and the CUET. Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority managing director GSM Zafarullah and CUET vice-chancellor Mohammad Rafiqul Alam signed the deal on behalf of their respective institutions, according to a press release.
Urban and environmental strategy faculty dean professor Sudip Kumar Pal, electrical and computer engineering faculty dean Mohammad Samsul Arefin, science and technology faculty dean AH Rashedul Hossain, mechanical and manufacturing faculty dean professor Kazi Afzalur Rahman, architecture and planning faculty dean Muhammad Rashidul Hasan and registrar professor Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Hi-Tech Park Authority deputy secretary Mohammad Mokhtar Ahmed and Hi-Tech Park Authority deputy director engineer Narottam Pal were present, among others, at the event.
On this occasion, a panel discussion was held titled ‘Encouraging entrepreneurs in building smart Bangladesh 2041’. The panellists of the discussion were the managing director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, the vice-chancellor of CUET, pro-VC of CUET professor Jamal Uddin Ahmed and project director of Shift Project Syed Zahurul Islam, where Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator director professor Mohammad Mashiul Haq moderated the event.
