The Abrar Fahad Memorial has been installed on the Sher-e-Bangla hall premises of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in Dhaka on Tuesday.聽

At the initiative of the Sher-e-Bangla Hall Alumni Association, the memorial plaque has been installed on the hall premises to perpetuate the memory of Abrar Fahad, who聽was killed in the torture of the BUET branch of Chhatra League, now banned, in 2019, said a press release.聽


The event was organised to mark the sixth聽death anniversary of Abrar Fahad.

BUET vice-chancellor Professor Abu Borhan Mohammad Badruzzaman inaugurated the memorial as the chief guest.聽

On the occasion of the sixth death anniversary of Abrar Fahad, a prayer meeting was held at the Central Mosque at聽BUET. Prayers were聽offered to seek the forgiveness for the souls of the deceased.
