Gazipur Agricultural University paid tribute to the heroes of the historic July 2024 mass uprising through a solemn photo exhibition on the campus in Gazipur on Sunday.
The exhibition showcased gripping images capturing the courage of martyrs, the suffering of the wounded, and the unbreakable spirit of the people during the nation鈥檚 struggle for justice, said a press release.
The exhibition also highlighted the role of GAU students and the global Bangladeshi diaspora in the movement.
GAU vice-chancellor Professor GKM Mustafizur Rahman inaugurated the event while Professor Md Nasimul Bari, convener of the exhibition organising sub-committee, presided over it.
Professor Mohammed Zia Uddin Kamal, director (transport) conducted the event, attended by treasurer Professor Md Safiul Islam Afrad, faculty, students, and administrative officials.
Following speeches, dignitaries toured the exhibition, praising its artistic and historical significance.
