The Bangladesh-Germany Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently hosted a welcome ceremony and reception in honour of R眉diger Lotz, the newly appointed ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bangladesh.
BGCCI outgoing president M Maksud gave welcome remarks at the event held at Le Meridien in the capital.
Later on, he formally handed over the presidency to Md Rokonuzzzaman, newly elected president of the chamber.
Rokonuzzaman outlined a strategic vision focused on boosting German investment in key sectors like renewable energy and technology.
He also emphasised the chamber鈥檚 commitment to advocating for business stability and policy clarity during Bangladesh鈥檚 current political transition.
