The Daffodil International University in collaboration with the Pubali Bank PLC held a two-day Industry-academia Collaboration Summit 2025 commenced at the DIU in Dhaka on Sunday.
Mohammad Ali, managing director and CEO of Pubali Bank, was present as chief guest at the summit, said a press release.
DIU chairman Md Sabur Khan, director of Career Development Centre Mohammad Manjurul Haque Khan and dean of academic affairs and adviser to the Real Estate department Professor Mostafa Kamal were present as special guests and human resources department director Anubhav Rahman proposed a vote of thanks at the summit.
Among others, Pubali Bank鈥檚 Abu Laich Md Samsujjaman, general manager and regional head, Dhaka central region; NM Firoz Kamal, DGM and head of card business; Md Rabiul Alam, DGM and head of alternative delivery channel division; public relations officer Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, senior officials of the bank鈥檚 head office and Daffodil International University faculty and students were present at the summit.
Experts from the industry and education sectors participated in this conference and discussed issues of employment, innovation and skill development.
Earlier, Mohammad Ali inaugurated a banking booth at Daffodil International University.
