
Students of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology displayed their talent in photography displaying their works in a daylong exhibition on the BAUET campus on Thursday, says a press release.
A total of 50 students participated in the event, which featured 20 selected photographs.
The BAUET Photography and Media Club organised the event titled ‘Photo Exhibition 2025’
Additionally, seven students presented video clips, out of which five were selected for display at the exhibition held at the plaza of the Academic Building.
Vice-chancellor of the university, Brigadier General Md Mizanuzzaman was present as chief guest at the programme.
He inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon.
During his speech, he said, ‘Through this photo exhibition, students have had the opportunity to showcase their talent, creativity, and skills. By creating engaging content, they have presented something new.’ He expressed his appreciation to the organizers for arranging the event.
Besides, the university’s treasurer, Colonel, retd, Md Shawkat Hossain, psc; controller of examinations, Colonel, retd, Hla Han Maung; Lt Colonel, retd, KFA Sohel; deputy registrar, admin, Md. Monjinul Mubin; deputy registrar, academic, Md Ashraful Islam; club adviser assistant professor Md Zakir Hossain Khan; heads of various departments, faculty members, club president Taki Hasan, vice-president Mahmud Taef, joint secretary Khalid, and others visited the event.
