BRAC Bank has recognised its top performers for their outstanding contribution to driving inward remittance growth and promoting innovative products exclusively tailored for remittance beneficiaries.聽聽
A total of 45 individuals, including branch staff, agent banking personnel, sales teams, and agent banking partners, were honoured in various categories for their contribution to the 鈥楶robashi Poribar鈥� and 鈥楾ARA Probashi Poribar鈥� account opening campaign, said a press release on Wednesday.聽
These initiatives are designed to encourage the use of secure banking channels for remittance inflows and to promote savings among beneficiaries, thereby ensuring long-term financial security.
During a ceremony organised at the bank鈥檚 head office on October 26. BRAC Bank鈥檚 managing director-cum-chief-executive-officer, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, presented awards to the top performers.

The event was also attended by Md Shaheen Iqbal, CFA, deputy managing director and head of treasury, FI, and Corporate and Institutional Banking, Shahrear Zamil, head of Remittance and Probashi Banking.
BRAC Bank has introduced the 鈥楶robashi Poribar Account鈥� for families of expatriates and the 鈥楾ARA Probashi Poribar Account鈥� specifically for female members of those families.
With BRAC Bank鈥檚 digital onboarding platform (e-KYC), customers nationwide can now open accounts seamlessly and within聽minutes.
This year, the bank also introduced the Expatriate Virtual Savings Account, enabling customers to access BRAC Bank鈥檚 internet banking app Astha instantly with a virtual debit card.
