Modhumoti Bank has extended financing to three net-metering rooftop solar projects of Younus Group – Wadud and Aysha Cold Store Limited, Srinagar Cold Storage Limited, and Siddeshawari Cold Storage Limited.
By supporting these initiatives, Modhumoti Bank aims to promote the wider use of renewable energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, prevent land degradation, and encourage water conservation – all of which are crucial for building a greener future.
The Sustainable Finance Initiatives were celebrated in the presence of Md Shafiul Azam, managing director and chief executive officer of Modhumoti Bank and Mohammed Younus, chairman of Younus Group of Industries at the bank’s head office in Gulshan, Dhaka.
The event was also attended by Arab Fazlur Rahman, deputy managing director and Chief Business Officer of Modhumoti Bank, Arif Hasan Khan, senior executive vice president and Chief Risk Officer of Modhumoti Bank, Mohammad Ziaul Haque, chief financial officer of Younus Group of Industries, along with senior officials from both organizations.
