
As part of its initiative to enhance relations with different countries and diplomats, the main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party has formed the Chairperson's Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee and聽a special assistant body聽to the committee.
Tarique Rahman, acting chairman of the party, has been made聽the chairman of the Chairperson's Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee, said a press release, signed聽by its聽senior joint general secretary, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.聽
Other members of the committee include BNP Standing Committee members Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, vice chairmen Altaf Hossain Chowdhury, Abdul Awal Mintoo, Netai Roy Chowdhury, Chairperson鈥檚 Advisory Council member Ismail Zabiullah, international affairs secretary Humayun Kabir, former ambassador Sirajul Islam, and Kurigram district BNP president Tajvirul Islam.
Members of the special assistant to the Chairperson's Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee are Shyama Obed, Anindya Islam Amit, Barrister Nasir Uddin Asim, Barrister Naushad Zamir, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Advocate Asaduzzaman, Afroza Khan Rita, Advocate Fahima Nasreen Munni, Jeba Khan, Advocate Nipun Roy Chowdhury, Khan Rabiul Islam Robi, Barrister Mir Helal Uddin, Tabith Awal, Engineer Ishraq Hossain, Farzana Sharmin Putul, Israfil Khosru, Barrister Abu Saleh Md Sayem (UK), and Md Iqbal Hossain Babu (Belgium).
