Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad-backed Baishamyabirodhi Shikkharthi Sangsad panel鈥檚 general secretary candidate for DUCSU elections, Abu Baker Mojumder on Tuesday, at a press briefing in front of the TSC centre at about 12:00pm, alleged that ballot manipulation was going on.
Referring to an allegation against a Curzon Hall centre polling officer, Ziaur Rahman, for giving a filled ballot to a voter, Baker questioned the credibility of the elections.
The panel's VP candidate Abdul Qader alleged that candidates backed by Chhatra Dal and Shibir violated the election code of conduct and the university administration was showing bias towards them.
Meanwhile, the university authorities had already relieved Ziaur from his duty, saying that Ziaur unintentionally gave two ballot papers, instead of one, to a student at the Amar Ekushey Hall polling station on the second floor of Curzon Hall.
