Former captain Najmul Hossain Shanto was left out as Bangladesh Cricket Board announced a 16-member squad for the team鈥檚 three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka on Friday.

Saifuddin returns after 18 months
Bangladesh pace bowling all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin returned to the national fold after an 18-month hiatus as he was included in the 15-member Bangladesh squad for the first three matches of the five-match Twenty20 International series against Zimbabwe starting at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram on May 3.
