Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Dhaka Lulzim Pllana on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Association for Socio-Economic Advancement of Bangladesh executive director, Mahfuja Khanam, aimed at supporting educational initiatives for Rohingya refugee children in Cox鈥檚 Bazar camps.
The MoC was signed in the presence of Bangladesh foreign ministry Myanmar Wing director general Md Kamruzzaman, said a press release issued by the Embassy of Kosovo in Dhaka.
鈥楾hrough this partnership, the Republic of Kosovo will provide a financial contribution of 5,000 EUR to support ASEAB鈥檚 efforts in improving learning conditions for Rohingya children by supplying school benches, bags, and water pots across community learning centres in Cox鈥檚 Bazar.
Ambassador Pllana reaffirmed the Republic of Kosovo鈥檚 solidarity with the government and the people of Bangladesh in their ongoing humanitarian response to the Rohingya crisis.
He underlined the importance of education in fostering hope, dignity, and resilience among displaced children.

This initiative reflects the shared commitment of Kosovo and Bangladesh to humanitarian values, education, and international cooperation, and further strengthens the already existing friendly and constructive relations between the two countries, the release mentioned.
