A fire broke out at a community centre in the Kalshi area of Mirpur, in Bangladesh capital Dhaka, on Friday night.
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, the blaze started around 10:00pm on the sixth floor of the 鈥楤ibaho Bari Community Centre鈥�.
Talha Bin Zasim, station officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence media cell, said six firefighting units were working at the scene to bring the blaze under control, while four more units were on their way to assist.
The cause of the fire and details regarding casualties could not be confirmed immediately.
