The brutality allegedly perpetrated by a Jeshore leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party was revealed on Sunday when the victim鈥檚 wife resorted to the police for remedy.
The case filed on the day by the wife of the victim, Shahnewaz Kabir Tipu, owner of Afridi Enterprise at Nawapara town, alleged that local BNP leader Asaduzzaman Jony and his associates buried the victim in sand up to his chest and extorted Tk 4 crore from him.
According to the statement of case filed by victim鈥檚 wife Asma Khatun, torturer and extortionist Asaduzzaman Jony is organising secretary of Nawapara municipality unit BNP.
Nawapara Press Club general secretary Mofizur Rahman is one of the rest five accused in the case.
Syed Saberul Sabu, president of Jessore BNP, told 抖阴精品 that Asaduzzaman Jony鈥檚 party post had been withheld for the past several months for breaching party discipline.
Confirming the information, Abhaynagar police officer in-charge Abdul Alim said that they detained one Mithu in connection with the incident, while the others went into hiding.
