Business leader Aziz Al Kaiser was elected as the new chairman of the Board of Trustees of North South University, succeeding Azim Uddin Ahmed at the annual general meeting of the board today Saturday.
Aziz Al Kaiser, son of the late industrialist, founding member and former chairman of the board and Partex Group founder MA Hashem, is the chairman of City Bank and Partex Star Group and has served as a member of the NSU board of trustees for long.
In his remarks following the appointment, Aziz Al Kaiser stated, 鈥楴orth South University stands today as a testament to years of visionary leadership, dedication, and hard work. I am deeply honored to follow in the footsteps of our founders and predecessors. As Chairman, my mission is to elevate NSU鈥檚 global standing as a center of academic excellence, innovation, and inclusive learning.鈥�
