Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge on Monday issued a travel ban on Northern University of Bangladesh鈥檚 trustee board chairman professor Abu Yousuf Md Abdullah and his family members over allegation of amassing illegal wealth.
Judge Md Jakir Hossain passed the order following a petition submitted by the ACC assistant director Sajidur Roman.
The other family members are Yousuf鈥檚 wife Halima Sultana, their son Saad Al Jabir Abdullah, daughter Labiba Abdullah and another family member Habibun Nahar.
On May 13, ACC initiated an inquiry into allegations of amassing illegal wealth by the NUB鈥檚 trustee board chairman, professor Abu Yousuf Md Abdullah, and his family members.
