Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh said that about 79-8 per cent broadband internet services would be restored by Wednesday night.
The ISPAB president, Emdadul Hoque, told UNB that the association was aiming at fully restoring broadband internet services by Wednesday night.
‘We are working on it and hope at least 70-80 per cent of broadband internet services will be restored,’ he added.
Internet services in some areas were restored in the past night. Important establishments, including government institutions, banks, gas and electricity service providers had broadband internet services restored on a priority basis.
